This past summer, Quantum Creations Media and Creation Cosmo had the honor of being invited to capture a historic cultural moment: the launch of “George The Last“, the latest work by Governor General’s Award–winning author Rachel Manley and Drum Manley Drummond — hosted at the Jamaican Consulate General in Toronto and published by Civil Sector Press.

Our crew were honored to contribute and document the evening, preserving Rachel’s joy, passion for storytelling, and her powerful tribute to a story of one man, George Drummond. Through social stories and event coverage, we sought to help Rachel’s voice continue to resonate with readers worldwide.

Rachel’s writing not only reflects her personal journey, but also echoes the deep cultural influence of Jamaica — from her father and grandfather, both former prime ministers, to the global artistic currents shaped by Bob Marley and the Manley legacy. Together, these voices remind us how Caribbean creativity has left a lasting imprint on world arts and culture.
